New Mix: Keep It Fresh
Here's a new mix I put together a couple of weeks back on Designers.MX. Give it spin, guaranteed to boost production or get your feet tapping.

2. Thanks to my buddy Ambert Rodriguez for pointing me to Sara Blake's work. Really love this time-lapse process video she created during one of her projects.
3. Only thing better then this song this week is finding the video for it.
Three things I'm digging this week.
1. Round 3 of The Old & New Project started this week.
2. Really dig this behind the scenes look of these "Quit Smoking" spots by Make Visual.
3. This post is a great reminder why sketching is important regardless of one's drawing skills, "Don't Be Afraid of a Pencil" by Caryn Vainio.
I had the privilege of working with All Sons & Daughters on the artwork for their first LIVE recording. It's always fun to work with other artist. The fact that both Lulu & I are big fans of their music makes it extra special. Be sure to checkout their album available on itunes or at their store.
1. iPhone Marimba Remix. I'm a sucker for all things looping.
2. I love this behind the scenes look into how Royale created this Nike Free 5.0 video.
3. Timelapse Art by Samantha Kallis
Back at it after a couple weeks off.
1. My friend Megan Watson wrote up this great post about Performance Reviews For Freelance Designers.
2. Illustrator Kevin Tong - R2D2 Poster Process Video.
3. Just finished up getting my taxes in order this past weekend. Thankful for the Harvest App helps keep all my freelance invoicing and time tracking in order.
Early this year I was commissioned to create some series illustration by friend Kelvin Co for The Oaks Fellowship. Kelvin wanted the artwork to be inspired by the "Wizard Of Oz" with my own interpretation. I'm really happy how it turned out.
Below is the trailer their team created for this series.
Week #5 going strong. If you missed the last 4 check them out here.
1. Li Hongbo - Pure White Paper from Dominik Mersch Gallery : Much thanks to my good friend Juliet sharing this.
2. Over the last few months I've been playing around with a creative exercise called #iphonecreations. The only real rules I set for myself were taking images and editing had to be done with the phone. A couple of exceptions were using overlays created specifically for these types of edits. Merek Davis & Neal Dieker are talented artist that have made these overlays available for free. Be sure to check them out and give them a follow on instagram.

3. Custom Built Orchestra - By Diego Stocco: This is a older video that I just came across. Headphones cranked at 11 are a must.
Happy Wednesday, here's this week's Dig It list.
1. I've been a big fan James White's (Signalnoise) work for several years now. Most recently he talked about getting into a funk and wanting to experiment with a different subject matter and style. I really love this new look from James. However, the biggest take away for me is how he used the funk to fuel something new and beautiful.
Be sure to check out his work and follow this series on Instagram and on his blog.
2. Props to my friend Colin who told me about GuideGuide photoshop plugin a while back. Hands down the easiest way to make quick grid lines in Photoshop.
3. I was going through my bookmarks and came across this older video, The Third & The Seventh by Alex Roman, labeled under inspiration. Even though this was done three years ago It's just as inspiring to watch today.
What's even more impressive is that this was all created on a computer. Check out the compositing breakdown below.
