Dig It: 09
2. Thanks to my buddy Ambert Rodriguez for pointing me to Sara Blake's work. Really love this time-lapse process video she created during one of her projects.
3. Only thing better then this song this week is finding the video for it.

1. iPhone Marimba Remix. I'm a sucker for all things looping.
2. I love this behind the scenes look into how Royale created this Nike Free 5.0 video.
3. Timelapse Art by Samantha Kallis
Back at it after a couple weeks off.
1. My friend Megan Watson wrote up this great post about Performance Reviews For Freelance Designers.
2. Illustrator Kevin Tong - R2D2 Poster Process Video.
3. Just finished up getting my taxes in order this past weekend. Thankful for the Harvest App helps keep all my freelance invoicing and time tracking in order.
Happy Wednesday, here's this week's Dig It list.
1. I've been a big fan James White's (Signalnoise) work for several years now. Most recently he talked about getting into a funk and wanting to experiment with a different subject matter and style. I really love this new look from James. However, the biggest take away for me is how he used the funk to fuel something new and beautiful.
Be sure to check out his work and follow this series on Instagram and on his blog.
2. Props to my friend Colin who told me about GuideGuide photoshop plugin a while back. Hands down the easiest way to make quick grid lines in Photoshop.
3. I was going through my bookmarks and came across this older video, The Third & The Seventh by Alex Roman, labeled under inspiration. Even though this was done three years ago It's just as inspiring to watch today.
What's even more impressive is that this was all created on a computer. Check out the compositing breakdown below.
Happy Wednesday, here's three things i'm digging this week.
1. My Friend Jim LePage has been working on a personal project called Crux Sola, Latin for "The Cross Alone." He's been posting a new cross Illustration everyday since the beginning of Lent and will continue through Easter.
2. I use the Pocket App serial times on a daily basis. It helps me avoid following rabbit trails throughout the day when I run across great content on the intrawebs.
3. The Innovator: Great story from freelance shoemaker, Mike Friton, on Innovation. Directed by Tristan Stoch from Cineastas.
Three things I'm digging this week. If you missed last week's check it out here.
1. My Dribbble friend Joshua Ariza has been working on these Breaking Bad illustrations over the last few months. I'm a fan of the show but bigger fan of Joshua and his work. Be sure to check it out and give him a follow on twitter while you're at it.
2. The only thing I dig more than "Retrograde" by James Blake is the music video, directed by Martin De Thurah.
3. At the beginning of the year I was reevaluating my GTD tasking process. I was using Actionmethod for keeping up with work/freelance and Clear App for my daily life task lists.
Then came Wunderlist. I've been using it for the last month and loving it. I wanted something that both Lulu and I could use to sync lists like grocery shopping and to see what's on each other's plate. While it's not as robust at project managing as Actionmethod I've found the benefit of having a one-app process out-weighs the limitations.
