I was going through some old photos from a missions trip to the Amazon several years back. We stayed on this river boat for several days. One morning I woke up to this sight. In that stillness I felt peace. This is something I desperately need more in my life. Even at times when my body is still my brain is going 100mphs. So I created this wallpaper from my screen, to remind me to "be still.
"Este es el día" is "this is the day" in spanish. I was going through some photos from a missions trip to the Amazon Lu and I went to in 2007. Evey morning I was awaken by beautiful sunrises like this, which reminds me that every day is the day the Lord has made.
This piece was originally created to promote our Good Friday service here at PVC. Whenever I work on any graphics that subject is "Jesus" I put on Phil Wickham as the soundtrack. One song in particular, "True Love", makes me remember that the greatest love ever displayed was that of God giving up his on son for my sins.
